Welcome! We're so excited to be here. We're Hey Girls, a buy-one, donate-one period product social enterprise heralding originally from Scotland.
We make environmentally-friendly award-winning period products that fund the fight to end period poverty.
And we are now in Australia! Hey Girls was established back in 2018 by Celia Hodson and her two daughters Kate and Bec as a kitchen table start up after experiencing period poverty themselves.
Bec is now our lead in Australia; having lived in Sydney for nine years. She lovingly hand-packs all our our products out to you.

We’re good for you: We design our products with you in mind; concept and comfort are key. From considered designs to natural material choices, we only use 100% certified organic cotton, sustainable bamboo and chemical-free products meaning we protect your health, not harm it.

We’re good for nature: Hey Girls period products are responsibly sourced and made from sustainable materials, offering the functionality of plastic, without the pollution. Everything we create is biodegradable or recyclable so you really are doing good with your period. With a long-term goal of becoming 100% carbon neutral, we donate 10% of all profits to help restore degraded habitats. We’ve also signed up to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and are pledging to halve our carbon emissions by 2030 to become net-zero by 2050.

We’re good for society: All of the profits from our buy one, donate one, business model goes directly into funding the fight for equal periods for everyone. For every purchase made from us, we donate a whole box of products to someone in need. Social and ethical choices are at the heart of everything we do – from the people we employ through to our supply chain and eco-conscious ethos. You do not have to be facing extreme circumstances to access the basic care you need.

We’re good for equality: Hey Girls is all about conversation – in fact that’s how our name was chosen; with one introductory phrase that started it all. Hey Girls’ guiding constitution, set when we launched in 2018, states our core aim; to help eradicate period poverty through the provision of quality period products for everyone who needs it.
- We’re good for change: Since we started in 2018, we have donated over 18 million environmentally-friendly period products through a network of 150 community partner organisations in the UK such as women’s refuges, homeless shelters and food banks. Our aim is to help eradicate period poverty in Australia by doing the same; and to enable better access to quality period products for all and to stomp out the stigma and bust the myths and taboos that surround periods.
